At the Land of Lincoln Short Track Championships in Champaign Illinois, hosted March 4-5 3023, Madison Speed Skating Club member and coach Jack Schnor took the overall Heartland group win to be Madison Speed Skating Club’s first ever Heartland meet winner. This was also his first ever Heartland meet win. Jack took first in the 1000m, second in the 500m and 3000m, and third in the 1500m.

Also competing in the Heartland division for MSSC were Matthew Vogeli, and first time Heartland competitiors Kieran Collins, and Tevin Chimedtseren.
