NEW SKATER INFORMATION
Welcome to the Madison Speed Skating Club!
We are so happy for you to join us. If you would like to try out our sport and club, please email madisonspeedskatingclub@gmail.com.
Couple of questions we will ask you:* What Size foot do you have as we have a limited # of sizes left in our inventory?* How did you hear about us?* What skating discipline are you coming from (Speedskating, Hockey, Figure Skating, Roller Derby, Recreational skating?)
1.) We give each new skater 2 free skating sessions, if you like it and want to join, cost for the season will be found in Team Snap. 2021-2022 season, 1st year membership = $400. Checks payable to MSSC Inc.
2) Equipment needed to skate with Madison Speedskating Club
Once you decide you want to go all in https://madisonspeedskatingclub.org/equipment/
- At your 3 Free Trial Sessions, you will need;
– Helmet (Bike helmet works well)
– Warm Athletic Cloths
-Shin Pads (Hockey or Soccer ones work well)
-Knee Pads (Roller blading ones work well)
-Neck Guard (If you own)
-Gloves
3) Our communication network is called Team Snap, when you are ready to join, we would just need your email and phone # so you can stay in touch with all that is going on.
4) A cool thing is we have a mini racing meet each month (We call it Madison Meet Series) and both our kids and adults have a chance to compete with one another. They love it!
